We supply band heaters specially developed for machines used in processing plastics.
Band heaters for nozzles are either standard or with braized cap: they are made in the same way as mica band heaters but with specific charges of up to 6 W/cm2.
They come in different diameters and lengths, according to the type of application, and can be fitted to thermocouples. The standard length of the power wire is 1,000 mm.
The standard model (with Alusi band) is suitable for applications where space is limited, as in moulds and hot chambers. Band heaters with braized cap in TIG welded stainless steel are mainly used for heating nozzles in injection presses.
