Model STAR infrared radiant heaters are electric heaters specifically designed to emit infrared heat.  This allows for efficient use in open areas where it is not ideal to heat by other means.  Typical applications are spot or zone heating.  Because STAR heaters rely on infrared energy, they are able to transmit heat without losing it to the outside or other areas not being utilized.  Electrolux offers both fixed and portable models.
