High density/ultrawatt cartridge heating elements

We supply high density cartridge heating elements in lengths up to one metre. These are top performing heaters that achieve working temperatures of 850°C and specific surface loads of 50 W/cm².

Ultrawatt cartridge heaters have nickel-chrome resistive wire wound round a pre-compressed magnesium oxide core. The wire is separated from the external sheath by a thin layer of compressed magnesium oxide that ensures good heat transmission and excellent hi pot at high temperatures.

High density cartridge heaters are used in the scientific sector and on industrial machinery (e.g. woodworking machines).

They are also commonly used on machinery for plastics (mould heating, flat extrusion heads, mould holders and metal parts in general).
