We supply standard low density cartridge heating elements in a wide range of diameters and lengths up to 5 m, for applications with maximum specific load of 6 W/cm² and working temperatures up to 450°C.

Standard cartridge heating elements comprise a stainless steel tube containing a nickel-chrome resistive spiral inserted into a ceramic insulating nucleus. Magnesium oxide fills the holes through which the resistive wire is passed to improve heat transmission properties.

We manufacture special heating elements for particular applications, i.e. low density cartridge heating elements with a strip sheath with or without fins.

Finned strip cartridge elements are employed particularly on packing machines or as anti-condensation units in electric cupboards or panels, whereas finless ones are used on applications for professional catering.
